SITE SUPERVISOR: $2,419 - $3,558/Monthly Salary Range for center w/up to 48 children) $2,563 - $3,771/Monthly Salary Range for center w/over 48 children)
Implement at center level, the service area plans consistent with Performance Standards, legislation and regulations, and requirements of the funding source. Provide direct supervision, guidance, leadership, and technical assistance to teachers, family service specialists, cooks and assistant cooks. Requires: Possession of a BA/BS in CD/ECE or related and a state awarded Site Supervisor permit. Minimum of four (4) years paid successful preschool teaching experience with at least two (2) years supervising staff.
TEACHER (Head Start Center-Based Preschool): *$11.71 - $16.37/hr 35-40hrs/wk.
Requires min 2 years recent paid successful work experience in a preschool age instructional capacity. Associate degree in Child Dev or related and a State Awarded CD Teacher Permit. (Those holding only an Associate degree will be required to apply for a state awarded Teacher Permit or higher within 90 days of hire.) *Bachelor degree in Child Dev or related field is preferred which may increase pay range to *$13.96 - $17.45/hr. *Initial wage placement for those holding a BA/BS will be within this pay range and based on additional years of related preschool teaching experience.

ASSISTANT COOK: $9.13 - $12.30/hr – 20hrs/wk (not eligible for health ins benefits).
ASSISTANT TEACHER: $9.64 - $13.11/hr: 30- 40hrs/wk.
BUS DRIVER (Preschool): $13.16 - $18.62/hr- Varied hours.
COOK - $10.63 - $15.19/hr 30-40hrs/wk depending on site
FAMILY DEVELOPMENT EDUCATOR (EARLY HEAD START PROGRAM):$13.96 - $19.57/hr – FT/YR.
FAMILY SERVICES SPECIALIST: $12.42 - $17.23/hr – FT/YR.
HOME BASED TEACHER (Head Start Program) $12.42 - $17.23/hr- FT.

Initial wage/salary placement is within the range advertised for each position and based on each individual’s related experience, skills, and education. Please note: Most positions are year round except for Head Start teaching staff, cooks, and bus drivers who usually work Sept-May/June, and in some cases, year round depending on the center.
